Being Familiar with the fact that human health and security today is jeopardized not only by the prospect of state’s deliberate use of nuclear weapons, but also by the risks and harms arising from their production, storage, transport and deployment;

Realizing that nuclear weapons are threat not only to the possessing nations but to the globe
as nuclear radiation knows no border;

Knowing that nuclear weapons have not been detonated in war since World War II butmanufacture of nuclear weapons for any cause has shown appalling consequences on people’s health and environment;

Advocate for negotiation to sign International treaty to ban nuclear weapons and call upon;

all the countries in South Asia to take serious and effective actions to build harmonious
relationship among ourselves, discourage the production and storage of nuclear warheads and
to take determining steps towards the complete abolition of nuclear weapons;

collaboration of Nepal with other countries of South Asia to address this issue in the global
scenario at Conference on the humanitarian impact of nuclear weapons, Mexico 2014.

Let us realize the catastrophic humanitarian impacts of nuclear weapons and prevent our future
generation from being its victim.

Together we can, nuclear weapon free earth is very close.

Let’s believe, let’s act !!
