CNDP invites entries for poster competition on the theme of Nuclear Disarmament, Demilitarisation and Peace.

The selected posters will be awarded by a jury of eminent peace activists and artists.

Rules and Regulations

1. The participant should be a citizen of the India.

2. The theme of the contest is “Nuclear Disarmament, Demilitarisation and Peace”.

3. Poster entered for the contest should measure 11”x17”.

4. The poster may be in any medium, including (but not limited to) water color, oil, crayon, acrylic, pencil, ink, or magic marker. Wood, plastic, metal, glass, or other breakable materials are not allowed. Digital posters are also welcome.

5. Do not include any personal information (name, age, etc.) on the front of the poster.

6. Participants may submit more than one poster.

7. The application forms for the competition can be downloaded from the official website : cndpindia.org

8. The following documents should be delivered to the CNDP in New Delhi (124/6-A, Second Floor, Katwaria Sarai, New Delhi
, India) until 17.00 on 30th July 2014 by post:

Application form, filled out completely and signed,

Posters must be mailed flat — not rolled or in tubes,

Liabilities regarding copyright permissions rest with the entrant together with all mailing costs.

9. Once submitted, the copies of the poster and the documents for application will not be returned to the entrants.

10. The artist of the design will be considered to have accepted the use of the poster for promotional purposes through media organs by the CNDP.

11. The holder of the signature in the application form must be the legal owner of the poster.
The rule of accuracy for all the information indicated in the application form will be binding for the holder of the signature. The legal responsibility that could arise due to the said information will be borne by the holder of the signature.

12. A preliminary selection may be held depending on the number of poster submitted for the contest. Short listed entry will be announced at the end of August 2014

13. The decision of the preliminary selection committee and the jury will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entertained.

14. There will be awards for the first and second positions and consolation prizes. The decision- making authority for any other issues that are not covered in this announcement will
exclusively be the CNDP.

15. At any stage of the competition, the poster which are understood to be falling short of any of the requirements mentioned above will be disqualified. In this case, any prizes awarded should be returned to the organising committee.

16. Rules of entry and regulations of this contest consists of (16) terms including this article. Entry into this contest confirms each entrant’s acceptance of these rules and regulations.
